BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

TDM.Space specialises in photography and video of retail design, VM and the consumer experience.

With a roster of photographers and video crew globally, TDM.Space is able to deliver consistent and quality images and video for major brands with Flagship retail stores in EMEA, APAC, North America and beyond.

TDM.Space is expanding and we are looking for an ideal candidate to join our team on a part-time basis to help to garner new business, introduce our services to new brands and accounts and build partnerships with major international retailers and agencies.

Business Development Manager Role

The role of the business development manager is to build and grow relationships in order to help the business to increase revenues and profits.

As well as increasing partnerships and client-relationship management, the business development manager will track new markets, opportunities and trends, recommend new products and services, grow new partnerships, write proposals for prospective new clients, and help to guide the long-term objectives to meet business requirements as well as maintaining new business.

The business development manager will carry out most of your work reporting to the Director.

The role will be flexible, working remotely and can be worked around other part-time work.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities

  • Driving increasing business revenue, identifying and developing new opportunities and building and expanding the presence of the company and its brand.
  • Tracking new markets and emerging trends, recommending new products and services, proposes and developing new strategic partnerships
  • Writing proposals and plans, and guiding long-term objectives to meet business needs and requirements
  • Regular use of Linkedin for marketing purposes including posting of current and previous portfolio with aim of increase engagement with existing, and new networks
  • Building and growing solid relationships with clients in order to bring new business opportunities to the organisation.
  • Identifying opportunities for the business to grow and increase profits.
  • Finding potential partnership opportunities for the business with a view to expanding its reach
  • Presenting marketing opportunities to the business and helping to develop marketing strategies.
  • Presenting proposals regarding marketing opportunities and strategies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Five + years experience in the retail design sector with a proven network of connections in EMEA and other territories.
  • Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to put to use when building relationships.
  • Proven businesses acumen.
  • Highly developed negotiation skills.
  • A high standard of tact and diplomacy.
  • The ability to think and act creatively when developing plans and strategies.
  • Proven track record of increasing revenues and profits through exceeding sales targets
  • Proven organisational skills.

Salary:

Commensurate with experience

£30-40k per annum pro rata on a part time basis + a generous commission structure based on new business production rates
